Review 1:I hail from the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire, and I absolutely adore a cozy fireplace and spacious gardens. When I stumbled upon this charming old house near an old slate quarry, I knew it was the perfect getaway for me and my friends. the bar in the back room was a delightful surprise, and we spent many evenings gathered around the crackling fire. the bedrooms were spacious and the location offered stunning views of Snowden. the housekeeper was quick to address any issues we had, and the starter pack of logs and coal was a nice touch. Our stay was fantastic and I would definitely visit again. Review 2:Coming from the bustling city of London, I crave peace and quiet and lots of space for my children to run around. This lovely old house in the middle of nowhere exceeded all my expectations. the large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and the cozy bar area was where we made many happy memories. Despite encountering a few issues upon arrival, the housekeeper was quick to respond and help us out. the location was great, and the house itself was clean and full of character. Great value for money and definitely a place I would return to. Review 3:I am a proud Scot from the bonnie Highlands, and I appreciate the charm of old, quirky properties. This house, with its history as a possible b&b or social club, captured my heart from the moment I arrived. the spacious garden, unique bar area, and cozy bedrooms were exactly what I was looking for in a getaway with friends. the communication with the housekeeper was excellent, and the starter pack of logs and coal was a thoughtful touch. the location was ideal, with plenty of activities to do nearby. My stay was wonderful, and I would not hesitate to come back for another visit.
